Delphinus, as a socially responsible company, contributes much more than just generating wealth and job stability for its employees and supply chain. At the end of 2023, and according to official figures, the Mexican Caribbean received 21,500,000 tourists, which implies a growth of 9.2% compared to 2022. Delphinus reflected that same recovery by registering a growth of 1.37% in visitors to the habitats for interaction with dolphins compared to 2022.

This report explains the animal welfare model and shows the social, environmental and economic contributions of this company in favor of the Quintana Roo community in which it operates. Delphinus works so that future generations have at least the same opportunities to enjoy this bright blue planet, just as we are doing. 2022 presented an environment of constant challenges and opportunities. During 2022, we were able to fully resume activities such as Educational Visits and the Festival de los Oceanos, just to name a few examples of the environmental education work that the institution carries out for the community and external audiences. Delphinus contributed 22.6% more resources through taxes in 2022 compared to 2021, just one indicator of the economic and social wealth generation that our organization pours into the economy of northern Quintana Roo.

Delphinus works every day to consolidate itself as an organization that bases its operation on animal welfare and environmental education to contribute to the knowledge, sustainable use, and conservation of oceanic resources.
