How to get to Delphinus Xcaret?
This habitat is located inside Xcaret. You can get there by car; for a more convenient drive, search for this address: Carretera Federal Cancun Chetumal 282, 77710 Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo. Free transportation when you book a Dolphinclusive or Dolphin Tour package.
What are the steps to book at Delphinus Xcaret?
- Explore the different dolphin swim options we have for you and select the one that best suits you.
- A pop-up window will appear where you’ll need to select the desired date and location, then click on Book again.
- Verify that the date is correct, select the desired time and the number of people accompanying you, then click on Continue.
- A form will appear for you to fill out with your information.
- Finally, complete the payment.
Once completed, you will receive a confirmation email with your reservation details. That’s it! Your dolphin swim adventure awaits.
Is swimming with dolphins included in Xcaret packages?
Park admission is not included. This swim is only valid if you have already purchased tickets to the park.
The only swim package that includes park admission is the Xcaret Dolphin Tour Plus.
What are the age requirements?
Swimming with dolphins is an experience that can be enjoyed at any age, as we have various swimming programs for everyone. If children are under 8 years old, they must be accompanied by an adult (both must purchase a ticket). For seniors, our staff is trained to assist them at all times to ensure the experience is unforgettable.

Be sure to make your reservation ahead of time. You can get your tickets online and find exclusive deals and discounts, just pick the date and time of the package you want to book. Please be aware that swimming packages do not include tickets to Xcaret. To access, you must buy the ticket separately.
To make the most of your stay in Xcaret, we suggest a 5 to 6 hour visit to enjoy the dolphin experience program and get to know the local tourist attractions. Or a full day if you choose to also visit Xcaret ecological park.
